Leiden Madtrics is the official blog of the Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS) at Leiden University.
The Leiden Madtrics Blog is a hub for people interested in trends and developments in research, and the intersection of science and society. The blog looks at the processes of evaluating research, developing research policy, and the myriad ways academic research makes an impact in society.
We focus on bringing together the many different voices and stakeholders that represent the science community to discuss these issues: students, researchers, librarians, members of civil society organizations, higher education professionals, practitioners, publishers, policymakers (local, national, and international) and research funders.
